10:00 a.m. Worship Service
Live Stream 10:00 a.m. via Facebook

In-person worship begins at 10:00 a.m. (one service only). Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. You will be required to wear a mask (one will be provided should you not have one) and we will practice social distancing.  We will continue to live-stream worship via our Facebook page to reach both those who are unable to attend and those who do not feel comfortable yet gathering with others. If you have an urgent concern, please contact Pastor Mark directly or e-mail the church as e-mails are checked daily. Please continue to pray that this pandemic will end soon and stay in touch with those who are isolated. Should you need any assistance or have a prayer concern, e-mail or call the church.  We will get back to you as soon as possible.  Stay healthy!

November 1st is All Saints Day. It is the tradition of the church to remember all the saints who have gone before us on the first Sunday in November. In particular, we use that day to remember everyone from the church who has died this past year. It is a day to celebrate their lives as we remember their faithful witness.

On All Saints Sunday, we will remember what God has done with all the Saints that have preserved the faith down through the ages. To remember those who have died in our congregation since last All Saints Day, we will read what is called “The Role of the Victorious.” During this each individual’s name will be read, a candle lit in their memory and a bell rung.

Join us on this special Sunday, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. either in-person or watch our live-stream as we remember those who have gone before us.

During the COVID-19 crisis, we have been able to continue with the community lunch program on Saturday mornings by offering carryout pick-up at the door. Our partner churches have continued to help by preparing the meals and sending volunteers to pass out the meals. Without the support of those at First and our partner churches many would have gone without a meal (as many other locations have temporarily closed down their meal programs).

And, in case you wondered if many people come for lunch….the average is around 125 folks. We hope that during this time, if you are able, that you will continue to support the community lunch by sending in donations to the church.

               Did you know?
In 2019, 6,300 people were served  hot, homemade meals on real china at the Saturday Community Lunch.   That's an average of 121 people each week.

Since we encourage our guests to truly be filled by offering seconds, thirds, fourths, and take home meals - that came to 11,241 meals for an average of 216 meals per week.

In addition to tummies being filled, spirits were filled as 813 people attended the worship service that is held during the lunch.

A total 1,126 volunteers shared their love of God and their love of others by helping prepare and serve meals and clean up afterwards.

Community Outreach
New Partner Churches and Community Groups are welcomed and needed. In order to continue serving the community a lunch every Saturday, we need help. Call the church office at 896-5683 for information.  We will come to your church or group to talk about this wonderful opportunity to be God's hands and feet in our community

Community Lunch Every Saturday - With the help of our partner churches we serve between 200-300 meals every Saturday to our guests.  Volunteers and new partner organizations are always welcome.
