Wednesday Bible Studies
10:30 am at Berkeley Square
In this volume from the Knowing the Bible series, Eric Ortlund guides us through a twelve week study of the book of Job. Ortlund helps us see the trustworthiness of God in the midst of our trials. Through the agony and pain experienced by Job, we catch a glimpse of God's purposes for our suffering as we look ahead to the restoration of all things in the new creation.
6:00 pm at First UMC in Fellowship Hall
The Wednesday evening bible study is studying The Holy Spirit, where Adam Hamilton explores what Scripture teaches about God's Spirit—from the Hebrew Bible through Jesus' promises in the Gospels, the powerful Pentecost experience in Acts, and the rich teachings found in the New Testament letters. This accessible study helps believers understand and experience the Holy Spirit's presence and power in their daily walk with Christ.
