Wednesday Bible Studies

10:30 am at Berkeley Square

1 & 2 Peter, Ways to Endure Through Trials by Dr. David Jeremiah. Peter was well-qualified to write letters to those whose faith was being tried in so many ways. 1 & 2 Peter - two short letters to Jewish and Gentile believers who were suffering persecution - offer encouragement and instructions on perseverance and holy, righteous living. Peter teaches that God can actually use hardships to strengthen Christians and their witness.

6:00 pm at First UMC in Fellowship Hall

Study the Book of Isaiah, beginning with the oracles against Judah and ending with a vision of the New Jerusalem. Some of the major ideas explored are: ingratitude of the blessed, a golden age, who is God, authorship, what is God like, and Utopia.

A group that likes to eat and to have interesting conversation as we share faith, food, fellowship and fun. Join us for good food, inviting conversation, and companions who are not afraid to talk about faith in God.

We usually gather at a restaurant around noon.
We often carpool from the church at 11:30, if that is enough time to get to our location.
